In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson departed on a Vice Regal Visit to the United Kingdom, Belgium and France.

As a consequence of Her Excellency departing the State, The Honourable Andrew Bell, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, assumed Administration of the Government of the State of New South Wales.
