In the afternoon, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, hosted a reception to celebrate NAIDOC Week, at Government House.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson, as official guests of Rugby Australia, attended the NSW Waratahs v British & Irish Lions match, at Allianz Stadium, Moore Park.
