In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson met with the Urban Renaissance Agency, Kawasaki City and Daiwa House, and received presentations on the Kawasaki Innovation Gateway Skyfront, at KING SKYFRONT Management Centre, in Kanagawa.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended a luncheon engagement with NSW business community leaders in Japan, at KITAOHJI, in Tokyo.

Later in the afternoon, the Vice Regal couple met with Ms Mariko Hayashi, Chair, and Professor Shinichi Ohnuki, President, Nihon University. The University of Newcastle and Nihon University have an MoU which aims to support new avenues for collaboration through the development and formalisation of strategic partnership. 

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson began their travel back to Sydney.

In the morning, Lieutenant Commander Shannon Richards, RAN, Honorary Military Secretary to the Governor of New South Wales, representing Her Excellency, attended the State Funeral for the Honourable Graham Richardson AO, at St James Church, King Street, Sydney.
