In the evening, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, hosted a reception for the International Astronautical Congress (IAC), at Government House. IAC 2025 is organised by the International Astronautical Federation and is hosted by the Space Industry Association of Australia, with co-hosts the Australian Space Agency and the New South Wales Government. The Congress has more than 7,000 delegates from around 90 countries.
