In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, offered remarks and laid the first floral tribute at the National Police Remembrance Day Service at the NSW Police Force Wall of Remembrance, The Domain. 

In the afternoon, the Governor received Ms Karen Witt, NSW Executive Officer, and Mr Peter Kaye, CEO, The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award – Australia.

In the evening, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson hosted a reception for the Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee and Shortlisted Candidates, at Government House.
