In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson met with Mid-Western Regional Council in Mudgee, followed by a tour of the Mudgee Team Training Village and Glen Willow Regional Sports Complex.

Later in the morning, the Governor and Mr Wilson visited Empower Café, a local business providing employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. This was followed by a tour of the Mudgee Arts Precinct. 

Afterwards, the Vice-Regal couple met with representatives from Fam Connect, a Mudgee organisation supporting children and youth in the region.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson visited Aboriginal-owned and operated business, Indigiearth, to learn about their award-winning range of native foods and botanicals.

Afterwards, the Vice-Regal couple travelled to Gulgong to tour the Gulgong Pioneer Museum.

 In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson travelled back to Mudgee to attend a Combined Business Chambers Reception with Business Mudgee, Rylstone Kandos Business Chamber, and Gulgong Chamber of Commerce.
