In the morning, in Narrabri, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, met representatives of the Narrabri Shire Council, visited Narrabri High School, and toured the University of Sydney’s Plant Breeding Institute to learn about the Native Grains Research Project.

Afterwards, the Governor joined members of the Polished Silver Over 50s Fun Group for lunch at Narrabri Uniting Church and later toured Australian Recycled Plastics. 

In the evening, in Gunnedah, Her Excellency attended the 1^st Gunnedah Scout Group Emergency Services Night, along with members of the 1^st Narrabri Scout Group and local SES and RFS representatives, at the Gunnedah Scout Hall. For further information, visit nsw.scouts.com.au
