In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, travelled to Gunnedah, where, throughout the day, she met representatives of the Gunnedah Shire Council, toured facilities at Gunnedah Leather Processors, and met members of the Red Chief Local Aboriginal Council.
In the evening, the Governor attended the book launch of The Story of Gabo, marking the 80th anniversary of the naming of the Gabo wheat variety, at Gunnedah Town Hall.
Concurrently, in the morning, His Honour the Honourable Andrew Bell, Lieutenant-Governor of New South Wales, as deputised by the Governor, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.
Following this, the Lieutenant-Governor hosted a morning tea for Rear Admiral Sang Yong Hong and other members of the Republic of Korea Navy 2025 Cruise Training Task Group, at Government House.
