In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson met with Mr Gareth Williams, Australian Consul General to Hong Kong, for an in-market briefing, at the Australian Consulate-General, in Wan Chai.

Later in the morning, the Vice Regal couple visited the Gleneagles Hospital in Wang Chuk Hang, to observe the application of Australian technology in a clinical setting.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended a luncheon with the leadership team of the University of Wollongong Hong Kong Campus, followed by a tour of the UoW College Hong Kong, in Tai Wai New Territories.

Later in the afternoon, the Vice Regal couple, as joint Patrons of the Fred Hollows Foundation (NSW), met with the Fred Hollows Foundation Hong Kong, at the Australian Consulate-General, in Wan Chai.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended a DFAT & NSW Reception hosted by Mr Gareth Williams, Australian Consul General to Hong Kong, at the Consul General’s residence at Deep Water Bay.
