In the afternoon, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, attended Canada Day – An Afternoon at the Cottage, in The Rocks.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson hosted a performance by the Harvard Krokodiloes, followed by a reception attended by representatives from various Patronage organisations, in recognition and appreciation of their work.
