In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, reopened the Central District Court of NSW for the Child Sexual Offences Evidence Program, and Walama Program, at the court in Sydney.

In the afternoon, the Governor welcomed the sixth of seven visits by groups of student leaders from across NSW participating in the Secondary School Leadership Program, at Government House.

In the evening, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson attended The Ordre National Du Mérite Award Ceremony, recognising acts of bravery by two French nationals during the Bondi Junction tragedy, at NSW Parliament House, Sydney.
