During the day, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, attended a morning tea hosted by The Queen’s Club, in which the Governor delivered a presentation on gubernatorial coats of arms, at The Queen’s Club, Sydney. 

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson, as official guests, attended ‘Light Will Win: A Gathering of Unity and Remembrance,’ a memorial event convened in the wake of the Bondi attack of 14 December 2025, to mark the National Day of Mourning, at the Sydney Opera House.
