In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House. 

Afterwards, the Governor received Mr Ghislain Robichaud, incoming Consul-General of Canada, at Government House.

Subsequently, Her Excellency, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, received Mr Shelley Salehin, incoming Consul-General of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, accompanied by Dr Tamanna Sultana, at Government House.  

Later, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Wilson, received Commissioner Mal Lanyon APM, Commissioner of NSW Police Force, accompanied by Superintendent Kellie Langley, at Government House.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency received Major Darryl “Skip” Holzhauser, outgoing Regimental Sergeant Major of Joint Ceremonial for NSW/ACT and Training Area Manager, Holsworthy Barracks, Australian Army, accompanied by Warrant Officer Class One Paul Simpfendorfer, incoming Regimental Sergeant Major of Joint Ceremonial for NSW/ACT, Australian Army, at Government House.
