In the evening, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, attended a Choral Service of Thanksgiving to Commemorate 55 Years of Diplomatic Relations between Tonga and Australia and The Golden Jubilee of the Tongan Consulate General in Australia, in the presence of Their Majesties King Tupou VI and Queen Nanasipau'u, at  St Stephen’s Uniting Church, Sydney.
