In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, visited the Reiby Youth Justice Centre, in Airds.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended the Italian National Day Reception Festa della Repubblica, hosted by the Consul-General of Italy, at Doltone House Hyde Park, Sydney.
