Government House is operated by the Premier’s Department (the Department).

The Department is collecting personal information from you so that we can receive, process and respond to your enquiry or request to Government House. If your request relates to an event, your information may be used to manage arrangements for the event.

For the same purposes, the Department may provide this information about you to the Governor of NSW. If your request is to arrange an event, the Department may also provide this information to others (including for example external service providers), where appropriate, to support the event.

The Department will not disclose your personal information to any other person or organisation unless you have provided consent, or we are authorised or required to do so by law.

Providing us with the requested information is not required by law. However, if you choose not to provide the requested information, the Department may not be able to receive, process or respond to your enquiry or request.

You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information at any time. To access or update your personal information, or for more information on our privacy obligations, contact Government House.

The Department will handle and store your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Management Plan and the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW).
