In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Later in the morning, the Governor received Mr Michael Sexton SC, Solicitor General for NSW. Following this, Her Excellency received Ms Concepción Inés Martinez Valinotti, Consul-General of Paraguay, accompanied by Mr Alfredo Canete León.

In the afternoon, the Governor hosted the sixth of seven visits by senior high school student leaders participating in the Secondary Schools Student Leadership Program, at Government House.
