In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Following this, the Governor received His Excellency Mr Clifford Borg Marks, High Commissioner for Malta, at Government House.

Afterwards, Her Excellency, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, presided at the investiture ceremony for Ms Laura Hogan OAM, at Government House.

In the afternoon, the Governor hosted the fourth of seven visits by senior high school student leaders participating in the Secondary Schools Student Leadership Program, at Government House.

In the evening, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson attended a reception celebrating the centenary of The Greek Herald, at Parliament House, Sydney.
