In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Afterwards, the Governor received The Honourable Zhou Naixiang, Governor of Shandong Provincial People’s Government, accompanied by Mr Wang Yu, Consul-General of the People’s Republic of China; Ms Chen Baiwei, Director-General of the Shandong Provincial Foreign Affairs Office and President of the Shandong People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and Ms Wang Junzhuo, Interpreter, Shandong Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, at Government House. 

In the afternoon, Her Excellency received His Excellency Mr Amir Maimon, Ambassador of Israel, for a farewell Courtesy Call, at Government House.

In the evening, the Governor, as Patron of the Rural Doctors Network, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, welcomed guests to a reception for the Annual Rural GPs Conference, hosted by the Rural Doctors Network, the Rural Doctors Association of NSW and supported by the NSW Ministry of Health, at Government House.
