In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Afterwards, the Governor received Ms Aisha Al Tobi, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman, accompanied by Mr Mohammed Hage OAM, President and National Chairman, Australian Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at Government House.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Mr Dennis Wilson attended the State Funeral for the late John Laws CBE, at St Andrew’s Cathedral.
