In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Later in the morning, the Governor received His Excellency Mr Diego Felipe Cadena Montenegro, Ambassador of Colombia, at Government House.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency hosted the first of seven visits by Senior High School student leaders participating in the Secondary Schools Student Leadership Program, at Government House.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson travelled to Moree, to commence a regional visit of Moree and surrounding areas.
