In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Afterwards, the Governor received Her Excellency Mrs Beatriz de la Fuente Fuentes, Ambassador of Chile, accompanied by Mr Francisco Tello, Consul-General of Chile, and Mrs Maria Fernanda Gómez, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of the Republic of Chile, at Government House.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency, as Patron of Sculpture in the Vineyards, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, hosted an afternoon tea celebrating the Wollombi Valley Sculpture Festival and the winner of the 2024 Governor’s Prize, Mr Michael Snape, at Government House.
