In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Later in the morning, the Governor, as Patron, and Mr Dennis Wilson hosted a morning tea for The Royal Agricultural Society of New South Wales, at Government House. In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended the Sydney Street Choir 25th Anniversary Celebrations, on the Sydney Opera House steps.
