In the afternoon, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, as Honorary Colonel of the Royal New South Wales Regiment, visited Singleton Military Range Area and observed training being undertaken by soldiers of the Regiment.

In the evening, the Governor, as Honorary Colonel, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, hosted a dinner for Commanding Officers of the Royal New South Wales Regiment, at Government House.
