In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, unveiled a plaque at the Dedication of a Bronze Plaque Honouring Women Veterans in War and Peace, hosted by the City of Penrith RSL Sub-Branch, at Memory Park War Memorial, Penrith.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended the AFC Women’s Asia Cup Australia 2026 match, Australia vs South Korea, at Stadium Australia, Sydney Olympic Park.
