In the afternoon, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson hosted Jazz@theHouse, featuring the Royal Australian Navy Band, at Government House.

Following this, the Governor attended the NRLW Grand Final Brisbane Broncos v Sydney Roosters and the NRL Grand Final Brisbane Broncos v Melbourne Storm, at Accor Stadium, Homebush.
