In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson attended the Ballina Community Memorial, honouring volunteers and remembering two Marine Rescue NSW volunteers who tragically lost their lives during a rescue mission on 4 May 2026.
