In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, hosted a Ceremonial Welcome for, and a Reception in the presence of, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, at Government House. The Reception marked the Centenary of the Royal Australian Corps of Signals, of which The Princess Royal is Colonel-in-Chief. 

In the evening, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, hosted a Dinner in the presence of Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, at Government House.
