In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson attended the Swearing-in Ceremony for Mr Frank Veltro SC as a Judge of the District Court of New South Wales, at John Maddison Tower, Sydney.

In the evening, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, delivered introductory remarks at the inaugural Great Lecture in the History of Jewish Philosophy, a joint initiative between the University of Notre Dame’s Centre for the History of Philosophy and The Great Synagogue, held at The Great Synagogue, Sydney.
