In the morning Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales returned to Sydney and reassumed administration of the Government of New South Wales.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency was represented by the Official Secretary to the Governor, Colonel Michael Miller LVO RFD, at the Collation of the Inaugural Anglican Archdeacon to Veterans, Reverend Andrew Nixon, at St Andrew’s Cathedral, Sydney.
