In the afternoon, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson hosted an afternoon tea to celebrate the Golden Anniversary of Probus in Australia, at Government House.

In the evening, the Governor, as an official guest of the High Commissioner for Canada, Her Excellency Dr Julie Sunday and Commander Jonathan Maurice, attended a cocktail reception on board HMCS Charlottetown, Garden Island. HMCS Charlottetown took part in the Exercise Kakadu Fleet Review on Saturday, the first phase of Exercise Kakadu, which is bringing together more than 6,000 personnel from Australia and 18 partner nations across the Indo-Pacific.
