In the afternoon, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, received His Excellency Nicola Lener, Ambassador of Italy, accompanied by Dr Gianluca Rubagotti, Consul-General of Italy, for a courtesy call at Government House.

Later in the afternoon, the Governor received Air Vice-Marshal Glen Braz AM CSC DSM, Air Commander Australia, for a farewell courtesy call at Government House.
