In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, attended the Bicentennial of the NSW Police Mounted Unit Street Parade, on the forecourt of the Sydney Opera House.

In the evening, Her Excellency and Mr Dennis Wilson attended a dinner to mark the Bicentennial of the NSW Mounted Police Unit, at Doltone House, Pyrmont.
