In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, as Patron of The Returned and Services League of Australia NSW, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, as joint Patrons of the ANZAC Day Dawn Service Trust, attended the ANZAC Day Dawn Service at The Cenotaph, where the Governor read The Dedication and placed the first wreath, together with Mr Bill Dobbie, Consul General of New Zealand. Afterwards, the Governor, as Patron, led the ANZAC Day March through Sydney, before joining Mr Wilson to sit with Legacy families to view the rest of the March, as Patron of Sydney Legacy. For further information, visit: rslnsw.org.au and legacy.com.au

In the afternoon, Her Excellency, as Patron of The Returned and Services League of Australia NSW, accompanied by Mr Wilson, delivered the Commemorative Address at the ANZAC Day Commemoration Service at the ANZAC Memorial, Hyde Park. For further information, visit: rslnsw.org.au

Subsequently, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Wilson, delivered an address at the Coloured Digger ANZAC Day March and Commemoration Service, before placing the first wreath at the Redfern Park War Memorial.
