Visit to Warialda, Bingara, Bundarra and Barraba

The Governor and Mrs Hurley visited Warialda, Bingara, Bundarra and Barraba between Monday the 13th and Thursday the 16th of August.
In Warialda the Vice Regal couple met with the Country Women’s Association, United Hospital Auxiliaries of NSW and associated organisations, and engaged with the One Door Warialda Carers Support Group.
In Bingara the Governor and Mrs Hurley visited The Living Classroom, a regenerated area on the outskirts of town which provides inspiration and know-how for the next generation of farmers and the renewal of rural communities.
In Bingara the Vice Regal couple toured the Myall Creek Massacre Memorial site, and hosted a Reception for leaders in the local community.
In Bundarra the Governor and Mrs Hurley visited the Central School and met with students and staff, before travelling to Barraba where they spent time with the members of the local community and visited the Barraba Men’s Shed.
