Visit to Mudgee and Gulgong

The Governor and Mrs Hurley visited Mudgee and Gulgong between Monday the 12th and Thursday the 15th of March, 2018.
In Mudgee the Governor officially opened the Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association of NSW Inc. Annual State Conference and the Vice Regal couple attended the Conference dinner. The Governor and Mrs Hurley visited the 1st Mudgee Scout Group, participated in a Soil Collection event as part of the Anzac Memorial Centenary project, visited Mudgee Men’s Shed, observed a Riding for the Disabled Association NSW Adult Class, and were updated on the progress of Indigiearth, a producer of Australian native products, and promoter of Indigenous culture.
In Gulgong the Vice Regal couple visited All Hallows Catholic Primary School, the Prince of Wales Opera House, attended an afternoon tea with the Country Women’s Association and other associated organisations, and met with local Emergency Services representatives.
