Visit to Menindee

On the 16th of November, His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, and Mrs Linda Hurley, travelled from Wentworth to Menindee, in western New South Wales.
In the morning, the Governor and Mrs Hurley attended a morning tea for local Emergency Services representatives, hosted by the Menindee Health Service, and later visited Menindee Central School.
In the afternoon, His Excellency and Mrs Hurley visited the Menindee Local Aboriginal Land Council, and also met with the Menindee Regional Tourist Association.
