In honour of the 20th anniversary of the McGrath Foundation, the Governor hosted a reception celebrating the Foundation's extraordinary legacy of support for people experiencing cancer, and to thank the McGrath Foundation team, its supporters, and, in particular, the inspirational McGrath Cancer Care Nurses whose tireless dedication has supported over 161,000 people and their families across Australia through the complexities and challenges of cancer diagnosis and treatment.

From the singular vision of the incredible Jane McGrath and her hope that at least one family could be provided the same empowering care she received from her breast care nurse, the McGrath Foundation has grown to become iconic example of the life-changing and immeasurable impact made possible by the power of giving.
