On Saturday, 8 November 2025, the Governor and Mr Wilson hosted a Ceremonial Welcome and Reception in the presence of Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, at Government House. The Reception marked the Centenary of the Royal Australian Corps of Signals, of which The Princess Royal is Colonel-in-Chief.
