In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Afterwards, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, hosted a Proclamation Day Luncheon, at Government House.
