In the morning, His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.
Afterwards, His Excellency received the Australian High Commissioner to India, Ms Harinder Sidhu, at Government House.
Later in the morning, the Governor received Ms Catherine Lourey, NSW Mental Health Commissioner, and subsequently, as Patron, Mr Rob Ramjan, Chief Executive Officer of One Door Mental Health.
In the afternoon, the Vice Regal couple attended the Matinee Performance of the Australian Ballet’s production of ‘Spartacus’, at the Sydney Opera House.
Later in the afternoon, His Excellency and Mrs Hurley attended a wreath laying ceremony with His Excellency Ram Nath Kovind, President of the Republic of India, and Mrs Savita Kovind, at the ANZAC Memorial, Hyde Park.
In the evening, the Governor and Mrs Hurley hosted a dinner for Official Secretaries of Vice Regal office holders of Australia and New Zealand, at Government House.
In the morning, His Excellency the Governor was represented by Aide-de-Camp Lieutenant Commander Robert Valler at the airport arrival of His Excellency Ram Nath Kovind, President of the Republic of India, and Mrs Savita Kovind.
