His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, and Mrs Linda Hurley continued their visit to the Far North Coast.

In the morning, His Excellency and Mrs Hurley visited the Spaghetti Circus, at Mullumbimby Showground, and met with students, coaches and staff before enjoying a demonstration of circus activities.

Later in the morning, the Vice Regal couple viewed the One Vision Productions “Links to Learning Music for Life” Program at Mullumbimby High School.

In the afternoon, His Excellency, as Patron of Heart Foundation NSW, accompanied by Mrs Hurley, spoke at the “Making the Invisible Visible” event, promoting women’s heart health in the Northern Rivers, at the South Tweed Community Hall. For further information visit:

In the evening, the Governor and Mrs Hurley attended the Voice Weavers Community Choir rehearsal, at the Tweed Heads Civic Centre.

In the morning, The Honourable T F Bathurst AC, Lieutenant-Governor of New South Wales, as the Governor’s deputy, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.
