In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, attended the Remembrance Day Service at The Cenotaph, Martin Place. Her Excellency and Mr Wilson placed the first wreath in remembrance.

In the evening, the Governor was represented by Colonel Michael Miller LVO RFD, Official Secretary to the Governor of New South Wales, at the Sydney Airport arrival of His Excellency Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia.
