In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, visited the NSW SES Nambucca Unit, and met with SES staff and volunteers, members of Nambucca Valley Council, and representatives from NSW Police Force, Fire and Rescue NSW, NSW Rural Fire Service, NSW Ambulance, Marine Rescue NSW, and the Australian Red Cross Nambucca Valley Branch.

Later, the Governor visited the NSW SES South West Rocks Unit, again meeting staff and volunteers, representatives of service organisations, and on this occasion, the Mayor of Kempsey Shire Council.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency attended a community BBQ Lunch hosted by Kempsey Shire Council, at the NSW SES Gladstone Unit.

Later in the afternoon, the Governor visited the NSW SES Wauchope Unit, meeting with staff and volunteers, representatives of service organisations, and members of the Port Macquarie Hastings Council.

Throughout the day, the Governor was shown flood impacted areas by local SES members.
