In the morning, His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, as Governor of the New South Wales Police Force, accompanied by Mrs Linda Hurley, was the Reviewing Officer at the Attestation Parade of Constable Education Program Class 323, at the NSW Police Academy, Goulburn.

 

In the afternoon, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Hurley, delivered an Address and presented awards at the Kiama Community Recognition Presentation Ceremony, at the Kiama Pavilion, Kiama.

Afterwards, His Excellency, accompanied by Mrs Hurley, officially opened ‘John’s Place’, a 16 bed extension to the Multicultural Village Aged Care facility at Warrawong.

In the early evening, the Governor and Mrs Hurley returned to Sydney.

In the morning and in the evening, the Governor was represented by Mr Christopher Sullivan, Deputy Official Secretary at the arrival and departure of His Excellency Mr Petro Poroshenko, President of Ukraine and Mrs Maryna Poroshenko, at Sydney International Airport.
