In the morning, in Lyndhurst, England, Her Excellency Professor The Honourable Dame Marie Bashir AD CVO, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Sir Nicholas Shehadie, was officially welcomed to New Forest District by Mrs Maureen Holding, Chairman, New Forest District Council, at  Appletree Court, before planting a tree to commemorate her visit. The Lyndhurst Community Choir was in attendance.

In the afternoon, the Governor, accompanied by Sir Nicholas, was a Principal Guest at a Civic Reception hosted by the Chairman of Bath and Northeast Somerset Council, in The Great Octagon Room, Bath Assembly Rooms before attending the unveiling of a Memorial Tribute Sculpture to Admiral Arthur Phillip, Royal Navy (1738 - 1814), First Governor of New South Wales and Founder of Modern Australia, in the garden adjacent to The Rooms.

In the evening, in the City of Bath, England, Her Excellency, accompanied by Sir Nicholas, was the Guest of Honour at a Welcome Reception hosted by the Britain-Australia Society West Country Branch in the Brunswick Room, The Guildhall before attending Speeches of Welcome in the Council Chamber, hosted by The Right Worshipful The Mayor of Bath.
